devguard started as a tool we built for ourselves. We were sick of compliance software that cost a fortune and forced us to work its way instead of ours — so we fixed it, and liked the result enough to turn it into a product. It's still founder-run, still Swiss-hosted, and still built around how engineering teams actually work.

We automated the compliance grind, wired it straight into GitLab, and finally made controls, policies, and audits easy to manage.
